• Bachelors degree (Masters Preferred)
• Fluent in English.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
•SensitivitytotheculturaldifferencesbetweenWesternandAsianstaffandawillingnessto work for
constructive change in a multi-cultural setting.
•CertificationandsignificantexperienceandknowledgeofWestern-styleeducation.
• Preference given to IB PYP and IBMYP and/or IB DP experience.
PREFERRED:
• Experience with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
• Experience with TCRWP Units ofStudy
• Experience with Positive Discipline and/or Second Step
• Experience with Seesaw andiPads
• Experience with Managebac
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment; an appreciation for the cultural differences
between Western and Asian staff; a willingness to respectfully collaborate with all staff in order to
promote positive change

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Provide day-to-day instructional excellence to each student ba
published schoolcurriculum.
• Prepare written daily lesson plans and unit plans and establish clear instructional ob

• Provide constructive feedback and ideasforthe improvement of student learning in the school.
• Actively support and promote the school’s philosophy, mission, and goals.
• Work cooperatively with fellow-staff members and administrators in curriculum design,
assessment,andimplementationasitpertainstospecificgradelevelsandprograms.
• Communicate frequentlywith parentsregarding the progress oftheir children.
• Communicate frequently with studentsregarding their progressin class.
• Assistfellowteachers andadministratorsin planning forschool growthandthemaintenance of
excellence.
• Attend meetings and professional development activities as assigned orrecommended.
• Utilize standardized testing and other assessment data to deliver appropriate ESLR-ba
instruction to each student.
• Make provision forthe special needs ofthe ESOL learner, and support and promote learning styles,
which cater to individualdifferences.
• Actively participate in school-sponsored events & activities.
• Contribute to afterschool activities program On a regular basis.
• Attendstaffmeetings,teacherworkdays and serveonstaff committees asneeded
•Takeallnecessaryprecaution
• Make provision for being available to students and parents for education-related purposes beyond
the school day when required or requested to do so.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal.
